This is a good solid studio pump set that is perfect for both homes and commercial gyms whether you want to consider shorter HIIT workouts or just some simple strength work.

The Physical Company RBX Rubber Pump Set includes 3 pairs of coloured rubber plates along with a 30mm Physical Premium bar and the spring collars needed to keep the weight on the bar! The plates also use Virgin Rubber as this is key to the durability of these discs.

Choosing Your Pump Set

As well as adding some colour, the coloured discs help you easily identify the weight you want to work with. With these discs, you also get multi-grip plates with the textured surface. The 5kg and 2.5kg plates have been designed with anti-roll sides and 1.25kg is round to help with rolling exercises.

The whole package weighs in at 17.5kg for the plates and 2.5kg for the bar – giving you a grand total of 20kg. However, there is also an option to buy 10kg plates giving you a total possible weight of 40kg.

The Pump set is a lot more versatile than people give it credit for, with a number of strength and CV exercises from the comfort of your own home. It is also a good choice for personal trainers or gym managers to use in large group sessions.
